Русский Första NEX·U·® Fluid Monitoring System på Island – Sleggjan atvinnubílar ehf
In collaboration with Skeljungur ehf and Visco ehf, Orion has successfully delivered Iceland's first NEX-U-® system to Sleggjan atvinnubílar ehf in Reykjavík. By integrating the system with the DK Business Solution ERP, the project has achieved full control over oil flows, minimized waste and enhanced workplace safety.
Challenges: Reduce waste and ensure smooth integration into an existing workshop
Sleggjan atvinnubílar faced a number of challenges in its workshop:
• Oil waste: Lack of monitoring led to uncontrolled use and losses.
• Integration with existing software: The workshop was using DK Business Solution, which required a new integration approach.
• Installation in an already fitted workshop: It was important that NEX·U·® was implemented without major remodelling
• Safety: Continuously pressurised pumps created risks that needed to be managed.

To address the challenges, a customized NEX·U·® solution was implemented with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and safety. Every drop of oil was precisely measured, preventing waste and improving traceability. A new integration with DK Business Solution was developed to ensure seamless connectivity with the existing business system.
The installation process was smooth and efficient, as NEX·U·® components allowed for quick implementation without major disruptions to the workshop environment. Additionally, tank monitoring with dry-run protection was introduced to enhance safety and minimize the risk of operational downtime.
